Today I spoke with a very motivated friend, who helped me realize how important it is to stay positive and live your dreams every day. We discussed a business venture that we are involved in and the direction that we want to go with our ideas. If you are a self-motivated person, it shows in the way you project yourself to others, and the message that you give in everyday conversations.
Start every day with the idea that today will be better than yesterday and that you will accomplish more today than you did the day before.
DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! Don’t waste time on unproductive task that will mean nothing at the end of the day. When you finally go to bed at the end of your day, make sure that you asked yourself did you accomplish anything? If your answer is yes, then ask yourself how I can accomplish more tomorrow. Answer your question and write it down on your pad that you keep on your night stand. When you start the next day, you will have a plan for the day already waiting for you. This is called Self-Motivation, you have given yourself the push that you need to do more than what you did the day before.
You can learn to be self-motivated by remembering that you are what you think about. Reinforce your thoughts by constantly reading your goals for the day and you will find that your goals are all that you think about. Program yourself to start a task and finish the task before you move on to something else. Make sure you are not wasting time doing unproductive things.
There are 24 hours in each day, use all 24 being productive. That’s right you can be productive when you sleep if you program yourself to dream about your goals and not some TV program you were watching before you went to sleep. Turn off the television at night or make sure you watch a motivational video that will help inspire you as you sleep and dream.
These are just some of that techniques to become Self-Motivated and you will find many more when you decide to change your life.
